A white-tailed deer fawn at the Dartmouth College Museum, located at the time in Wilson Hall. The message on the card, postmarked 1946, notes that "it tried to jump a brook and was found nearly dead and was taken to the museum but they couldn't make him live. Now he is in a glass case." The museum moved to Wilson Hall from Butterfield when it was demolished in 1928.
