This view of the interior of the Butterfield Museum presumably shows the west wing of the building. One of Prof. Hitchcock's relief maps of New Hampshire stands on the end wall. The College demolished the building in 1928 to clear the view for Baker Library behind it. Many of the specimens that formed this collection went to the Montshire Museum of Science across the River in the 1970s.
